Pregnancy massage can ease the aches and pains associated with pregnancy. Pregnant women are massaged in the side lying position with pillows between the legs, under the abdomen and head for support and comfort. The massage is usually gentler to accommodate for the hormone change affecting muscle and ligament laxity, but firm enough to address muscle related tension and pain.
Postnatal massage can give relief to those arms, shoulders, neck and back that are now lifting, holding and nursing for hours each day.
